- Pursuing a degree in accounting or business administration at a technical school or university
- Interested in pursuing a career in public accounting
- Client Accounting: Preparing bookkeeping, payroll, and the completion of various forms, such as sales tax filings, W2’s and 1099s and payroll tax returns for clients; demonstrating the ability to organize and multitask efficiently
- Tax Preparation: Assisting with tax returns for individuals and businesses; ensuring accurate data entry
- Attest Engagements: Assist in the performance of attest engagements, showcasing attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Interns must be able to work at least 20 hours per week during the internship period.
Our internships have a minimum duration of 12 weeks, with the potential to extend longer.
We are currently accepting applications for accounting internships at our Grand Island and Kearney locations. Please note that these internships are in-person only and not available remotely.
Interns will be provided with a dedicated office space equipped with a laptop, external monitors and necessary office supplies for their tasks. They will have access to our accounting software, including Ultra Tax, Planner, Fixed Assets, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office. Additionally, interns will have regular access to their dedicated mentor and other professionals within the firm for ongoing support to ensure their success.
Eligibility for college credit depends on your school’s internship requirements. We encourage you to consult with your academic advisor to see if your internship with us can be applied toward credit. We are happy to provide any necessary documentation and collaborate with your advisor to support your credit application.
While we cannot guarantee full-time employment after the internship, we often offer successful interns the opportunity to transition into full-time roles based on performance, available positions, and business needs. We encourage interns to demonstrate their skills and initiative throughout the internship to be considered for future opportunities.
